Unlike repellent termiticides that drive termites away, Fipronil allows them to move freely through treated zones and carry the chemical back to their nests. Mode of Action Once applied to the soil, Termidor 96SC forms an undetectable treated zone. Termites who pass through this area pick up the chemical on their bodies. Through grooming and contact, they transfer it to others in the colony – a process known as the Transfer Effect. This leads to widespread mortality within days without alerting the colony, ensuring complete elimination.
